REMEDI Electronic Commerce Group, located in Columbus, Ohio, is currently looking for an Account Representative to expand our client sales and service capacity. You will be located in the Columbus office and will report to our Business Development Manager. Successful candidate will have a stellar history of demonstrated success in account management and service within the business services space. In particular, this success would be related to selling business services to existing clients, managing and servicing clients, and assisting Business Development Managers in landing new business.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Nurturing existing client relationships, identification and closing of new opportunities with existing clients through a largely phone based consultative selling process, with supplementary reliance on in-person, web / email, newsletter, and marketing communication
- Maintain superior client relations by consistent and timely account management, maintenance, problem resolution
- Identification of opportunities to improve client loyalty and build revenue through add-ons, up-selling, and cross selling to existing accounts
- Client needs analysis, requirements definition, pricing / proposal development
- Resource review, presentation, and scheduling with Consultant Relations Managers / Recruiters and client
- Service agreement / statement of work development, negotiation and execution
- Support of consulting resources on client accounts
- Maintain accurate records on accounts via contact management systems
- Assistance with prospect lead development projects and support of Business Development Manager
- Ongoing industry / product / service observations and market research
- Maintain the highest degree of ethics and integrity
EXPERIENCE DESIRED
- Minimum 2 years experience in business services; account management or customer service / support
- Demonstrated success calling on and managing relationships with existing client decision makers, with experience passing gatekeepers
- Familiarity and use of account management methodologies
- Disciplined account management activity planning, coupled with adherence to execution of the plan
